Travertine

Travertine stone is formed when dissolved limestone mixes under pressure with steam. The result is a very versatile and hard wearing stone wall or floor tile with a characteristic pitted surface. The surface can be treated to give a smooth feel (honed and filled), or left pitted (honed and unfilled) or finally wired brushed to give an aged look. Any of the finishes will give you beautiful natural stone wall and floor tiles of an elegant but unfussy nature, the perfect base for your kitchen or bathroom walls and floors (or indeed any room in your home).
